This room was built as a library and work space for a teacher. The cabinets were so deep that she had 2 rows of books in some spaces, however you had no idea what books were in the back.
Our organization team, along with our custom cabinet partner, came up with a solution of configuring all the shelves to pull out like drawers to access the books in the back. If the books were short, they were arranged so that each pullout had two rows of books with the spines up. The larger books were also arranged spine up, but were put in front. This not only captured every inch of space, but it also allowed us to put in more shelves. Over 135 shelves were either reconfigured or re-organized.
